You can also run this from the 'DOS'-command prompt: that will enable you to see any (error)-messages. Then you should be able to run FlightGear by double-clicking the start_fg.bat file. The protocol-file and the script unfortunately have the same name, but it's vital that they end up in the right folder In your case, you should edit the start_fg.bat file, to change the path to your FlightGear folder. Then you should copy the three files from the FlightGear folder 'shipped with' FTNoIR to their respective folders.
